Frequently Asked Questions
What Happens if It rains?
We monitor weather closely leading up to your wedding day. Light rain or passing showers typically do not require changes. In the event of heavy rain, strong winds, or unsafe conditions, we will work with you on a weather backup plan. Options may include adjusting the ceremony time or rescheduling based on availability. Your safety and experience are our top priorities.
Am I limited to the package options provided?
Not at all! Our packages serve as a starting point. If you have a specific vision or would like to customize elements of your ceremony, we are happy to create a tailored option that fits your needs and style.
Will other people be on the beach during our ceremony?
Public beaches remain open to the public. While we cannot guarantee complete privacy, we choose locations and setup layouts that provide a beautiful and intimate ceremony experience.
How do we obtain our Marriage license In Alabama?
Alabama no longer issues traditional marriage licenses. Instead, couples complete and file a Marriage Certificate Form. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Complete the Marriage Certificate Form
Fill out the Alabama Marriage Certificate Form online:
https://dph1.adph.state.al.us/marriage/
Step 2: Get the Form Notarized
Both partners must sign the form together in front of an Alabama-licensed notary.
Step 3: Bring Notarized Paperwork + $73 Fee
Bring your completed, notarized form and a $73 money order payable to “Judge of Probate” on your wedding day.
Step 4: Mail the Paperwork After the Ceremony
After your ceremony, mail the notarized form to:
